Define and develop a training organization to manage the complex and varied technical training needs of the Service Operations Organization. Develop an annual business plan and budget for the Service Operations Internal Training.
Establish professional training environments and manage all the training facilities/ classrooms in terms of setup; hardware, software, and student training materials.
Design and deliver a curriculum of certified and non-certified training in a decentralized environment at XYZ’s regional locations.
Maintain a high level of technical product knowledge in a variety of areas and an awareness of new products that will need to be supported.
Recommend/present new courses/curriculum offerings to management and ensure ongoing training for current and projected needs.
Provide feedback to management on training and scheduling needs and manage special training projects.
Manage the scheduling function for all deliveries at all locations publishing a quarterly schedule with weekly schedule update for all Service Operations Management.
Monitor, analyze and improve as needed student and instructor performance.
Design methods and procedures to test course materials for quality , audience suitability, accuracy of objectives and expected learning experience.
Establish standards for selecting and developing new instructors while appraising the performance and developmental needs of the existing training resources.
Develop an ongoing Train the Trainer in-house program for dedicated and supplemental trainers.
Implement a program of performance assessment and accountability where all managers are informed as to the progress of their employees .
Communicate with appropriate management and support groups to ensure compliance with Corporate goals and standards.
